Job description

Job Description
A non-profit organization is seeking a Kitchen Aide to work part-time, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Duties:
  • Receive, prepare (warm up food), package, serve and clean up following grab-and-go or congregate meal programs
  • Receive, count, and sign off on caterer's invoice
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and equipment to meet food safety standards
  • Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required
  • Prepare and serve refreshments for participants as needed
  • Clean and maintain participant dining room
  • Store, heat, and serve meals, and package home delivered meals according to caterer's specification

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Must have a High School diploma or GED
  • Must have previous experience in food service; ServSafe Certification is preferred
  • Must have the ability to abide by and follow all food safety standards and follow caterer's specification
  • Must be able to pay a high attention to detail while being safety conscious
  • Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues

Only those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
