Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Schedule

This position requires a night shift from 19:00 to 07:00 with a guaranteed weekly schedule of 36 hours. Must complete 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-paced, high-acuity environment, providing essential care to a diverse patient population including adults and pediatrics.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patient care in emergency situations.
  • Administer medications and treatment as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting.
  • Experience with Peripheral IVs, Stroke protocols, SEPSIS, and STEMI cases preferred.
