Job description

Registered Nurse - Home Visits | Part-Time
About the Organization
Our client is a clinical research organization dedicated to advancing patient care through well-managed, compliant clinical trials. They partner with sponsors and study sites to deliver high-quality data while prioritizing participant safety, comfort, and experience throughout the study lifecycle.
The organization fosters a collaborative, mission-driven culture where clinical staff are valued for both their technical expertise and their ability to build trust with patients in home-based care settings.
The Role
We are seeking a registered nurse to support in-home patient visits for an active clinical research study. This part-time, 3-month assignment is ideal for an RN who is comfortable delivering high-quality, protocol-driven care in patients' homes and values consistency in a structured visit schedule.
Visits are based out of a designated site location, with patients located within approximately a 1-hour radius. Schedule: Visits 1 through 10, totaling 10 home visits per patient per month.
Compensation: $45/hr.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct home visits to perform patient assessments, collect specimens, and administer study-related procedures per protocol
  • Accurately document all visit findings in source documents and study systems in accordance with GCP standards
  • Communicate visit outcomes and any safety concerns promptly to the study team
  • Maintain strict adherence to study protocols, informed consent processes, and patient confidentiality
  • Build rapport with patients to support retention and a positive study experience
What You Bring
  • Active, unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience
  • Strong patient assessment experience
  • Clinical research or GCP experience preferred, not required
  • Comfort working independently in home-based care settings
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with patients quickly
  • Reliable transportation for home visit assignments

Why This Role
This is a great opportunity for an RN who wants meaningful, patient-centered work without a full-time commitment. It offers exposure to clinical research in a supportive environment, with a predictable monthly schedule and the chance to build lasting rapport with the same patient population over the course of the assignment.
