Job description

This role is a temporary position. Property is looking to hire an applicant no later than Friday 06/19 and the role will need to be filled for at least one-month based on the needs of the hotel. 


We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Building Maintenance Manager.


What will you be doing most days?

  • Respond to guest requests in a timely manner and provide great guest service
  • Perform preventative maintenance duties and procedures as needed
  • Lead a team of Building Maintenance Tech I and II to complete tasks as assigned by the Computerized Maintenance Management System (QUORE).
  • Perform a variety of tasks assigned by the Assistant General Manager and General Manager.
  • Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting projects
  • Oversee all 3rd party outside contractors
  • Respond to emergency situations promptly
  • Always maintain a professional appearance
  • Complete other duties as assigned


What are the requirements for this position?

  • You have been currently working as a Building Maintenance Tech II for at least 2 years or at least 4-5 years of experience in a related field
  • You are currently managing at least one subordinate
  • You have proficient knowledge of hand tools and maintenance duties
  • You have time management capability to accomplish work within established parameters
  • You have a customer service focus and the ability anticipate guest needs


Physical Requirements for this Position

This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.


Travel Requirements

This position would require little travel.
