Location: Marietta, Georgia
Contract Type: Travel Assignment
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks | Start: ASAP | End: 10/11/2026
Positions Available: 1

Schedule:
  • Shift: Nights โ€“ 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
  • Weekly Hours: 36 Hours
  • Shifts Per Week: 3
  • Every Other Weekend Required (weekends-only availability preferred)
  • Holiday coverage required
  • No On-Call Requirement
Job Description:
  • Provide advanced respiratory care services to patients across multiple levels of acuity with emphasis on critical care patient populations.
  • Deliver respiratory therapy through evaluation, assessment, treatment implementation, and ongoing reassessment.
  • Administer respiratory medications and therapies according to physician orders and department protocols.
  • Manage complex respiratory conditions while utilizing expanded clinical knowledge and independent decision-making.
  • Deliver care primarily in adult critical care environments with advanced ventilator management responsibilities.
  • Perform protocol-driven ventilator management and continuously evaluate patient response to treatment.
  • Assess respiratory status and develop individualized respiratory care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and family/support systems regarding respiratory treatments, disease management, and care plans.
  • Participate in staff education, orientation, and professional development activities.
  • Provide age-appropriate and population-specific care while considering biological, developmental, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR.
  • Support quality outcomes and patient safety initiatives throughout respiratory care delivery.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience
  • Adult Critical Care experience preferred
  • Experience with Epic documentation
  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT โ€“ NBRC) Credential
  • Active Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
