Job description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Carpenters for projects located in or around Canadaigua, NY. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $30-$33/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:   

  • Demo, drywall, wall sections & wall finishes 
  • Demo existing wall sections
  • Metal stud framing
  • Install owner furnished doors, frames, hardware, thresholds, weatherstripping and drip caps
  • Install interior break-room door, new exterior doors, etc.
  • Install tape bed texture & finish
  • Path & repair walls, ceilings, flooring & walls
  • Adjust ceiling grid as required
  • Paint patched & repaired areas to match existing finish
  • Provide temporary dust barriers & security protection
  • Coordinate with masonry electrical & Walmart personnel
  • Final cleanup, touch-up & punch list
