Position Overview:
We are seeking reliable and hard-working Demo Laborers to join a growing construction team based out of Williamsburg, VA. The ideal candidate will be physically capable of performing manual labor and comfortable traveling to various job sites across the surrounding areas. A valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required during the initial temp period.
This role involves heavy demolition work, site cleanup, and supporting general construction tasks. It offers long-term growth potential, with the opportunity to take on supervisory responsibilities based on performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform demolition work and site cleanup, including lifting and hauling debris such as concrete, flooring, wood, and other materials
  • Travel to job sites around the area
  • Operate hand tools and assist with general labor tasks on construction sites
  • Follow all safety protocols and job site regulations
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Take direction from supervisors and work independently with minimal oversight
  • Maintain professionalism and reliability on all assigned tasks
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation (required)
  • Physically fit and able to work long shifts (8-10 hours), performing heavy labor
  • Comfortable working on feet for extended periods and lifting heavy materials
  • Prior experience with demolition contractors, general contractors, or excavation companies is preferred
  • Construction experience is a plus, but not required
