Job Description
The Data and Platform Solutions group is a specialized team within the agency acting as digital data and ad technology experts. Audience data can help inform media decisions and this position supports this process with the media team. This will include collaboration with internal groups who own GTM Strategy, DSP/Programmatic Strategy, Analytics, and Investment teams.
The Director, Data & Platform Solutions will specifically be responsible for generating audience insights and crafting go to market strategies across platforms for audience level data. They will also work in collaboration with other teams to craft and deliver data led insights, test and learn agendas, and overall push the limits of data platform capabilities. This highly motivated, detail-oriented individual manages processes around targeting data, generates reports to understand key insights, and overall executes on the client's investments in data.
Core Job functions of DPS Team
  1. Leverage data and technology to solve business problems
    Includes: Data and Audience strategy across all channels and provide audience insights and recommendations for clients and internal teams.
  2. Drive ad tech partnerships:

Includes: Evaluation, selection, setup, maintenance, roadmap, project management of ad tech partners.
    1. Digital, Data and Ad Tech Education (trainings, POVs, reference guides)
    2. Ad serving (Standard, dynamic, video, display)
    3. Attribution (pixels, tracking, measurement, mobile, desktop)
    4. Web analytics, app measurement, MTA, cross device, CPDs
    5. Data Marketplace (1P, 2P, 3P landscape, best practices)
    6. DSPs
    7. Role of platforms and tech (DPS 101)

Responsibilities
Role Responsibilities:
  • Act as resource to demonstrate agency knowledge of digital strategies
  • Own and maintain relationships with audience data partners and internal agency counterparts
  • Guide and drive use of audience data to impact media strategies for client account(s) based on overall objectives
  • Maintaining knowledge of current media trends and provide training to employees when necessary.
  • Help create client presentations & provide agency POVs to client based on client data strategy objectives
  • Grow day to day client relationships focused on data & internal agency leads
  • Oversee & Set Precedent of the management of the day to day relationship with DMP or "DMP Like" platforms (Data Management Platform)
  • Managing the process of defining audiences to be leveraged, sharing of data with partners, and tracking and compiling performance reports regarding audience groups
  • Prepare & present data strategy presentation and drive integration in media plan focused on audience details
  • Support and/or manage thought leadership and roadmap planning of signal loss and data privacy initiative

Qualifications
  • B.A. or B.S., preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or Data Science
  • 7+ years of experience preferred in digital media, ad technology, ad operations, or analytics
  • Self-starter who is quick to learn and eager to contribute
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects
  • Familiarity with basic accounting/math principles; basic statistical analysis experience is a plus

Compensation Range: USD $135,375.00 - USD $165,000.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
