JOB SUMMARY: The Healthcare Data Analyst serves as the hospital's enterprise reporting and analytics expert, responsible for transforming complex healthcare data into meaningful information that supports strategic, operational, financial, clinical, and regulatory decision-making.

This position designs, develops, validates, and maintains enterprise reports, dashboards, scorecards, and performance metrics that support leadership across all departments. The Healthcare Data Analyst collaborates with executive leadership, physicians, department managers, quality, finance, revenue cycle, information technology, and clinical teams to identify reporting needs, analyze organizational performance, and provide actionable recommendations based on accurate and reliable data.

The Healthcare Data Analyst promotes data integrity, standardization, automation, and continuous improvement of the hospital's reporting infrastructure. This position also supports succession planning by learning and documenting existing reporting architecture and decision support processes to ensure long-term continuity of organizational reporting capabilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Master's degree preferred. Bachelor's degree required in one of the following:

  • Finance
  • Accounting

  • Related field

Hospital experience strongly preferred.

Preferred three years of progressively responsible experience in one or more of the following:

  • Quality reporting
  • Healthcare operations

JOB KNOWLEDGE: Demonstrated ability in financial and operational systems. Technical knowledge of Excel and familiar with word processing applications.
