Our foundational principle - "The Right Drug for the Right Person at the Right Price" - drives everything we do. Since 2016, our evidence-based approach has delivered superior health outcomes while reducing costs for self-insured employers and health plans. By ensuring each patient receives the most appropriate medication for their specific condition at a fair market price, we're replacing the obsolete PBM Model with innovative solutions that work better for everyone.

  • Culture: Enjoy autonomy and reliability in a micromanagement-free environment
  • Growth: Expand your opportunities as we expand our business

About the Role:

VIVIO's value to clients rests on proving what a traditional PBM can't: transparent, verifiable savings on drug spend. The Data Analyst will own client-facing reporting and the analytics pipelines behind it, working closely with Client Success, Sales, and Tech to turn VIVIO's data into the evidence clients and prospects need to trust our common sense drug management model.

As an effective Customer Success Data Analyst, you will analyze customer data to identify trends, patterns, and insights to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth. This role involves working with various data sources, conducting in-depth analyses, creating reports and dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute data requests while contributing to customer growth and retention.

Who You Will Be Working With:

This role sits within our Client Success Team.

Job Description

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for the position. You will love being on this team if you are a problem-solver and are internally motivated to keep your customers, advisors, and vendor partners happy.

Who You Will Be Working With:

This role sits within our Client Success Team.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Client Reporting - Build, maintain, and continuously improve standard quarterly reporting and custom client reports covering things like drug utilization, spend trends, and savings.
  • Savings Validation - Track, calculate, and validate client savings against baseline benchmarks, supporting VIVIO's 2:1 savings guarantee.
  • Analytics Infrastructure - Build and maintain the reporting pipelines and dashboards that pull from claims, eligibility, and drug pricing data sources, reducing reliance on manual, one-off reporting.
  • Data Quality - Partner with Tech and Ops to ensure downstream reporting reflects clean, reliable eligibility and claims data; flag data quality or integrity issues before they reach clients.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership and Support - Provide analysis and supporting materials for other business units such as Sales and Contracting
  • Ad Hoc Analysis - Field ad hoc data requests from Client Success and company leadership, translating raw data into clear, client-ready narratives.
Qualifications

What We Are Looking For:

  • 2-3 years of SQL experience, preferably with MySQL
  • 3-10 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence; PBM experience strongly preferred
  • Understanding of database structures and design
  • Experience building reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Quicksight, PowerBI, or Tableau
  • Experience working directly with customers in a data analytics capacity
  • Experience working in a HIPAA-compliant environment
  • Experience working with healthcare claims, eligibility, or pharmacy data; familiarity with 834/837 file structures is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to translate technical analysis into a narrative a client or prospect can act on
  • Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team
  • Attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn and grow with scaling company with shifting business needs
  • Someone who is as passionate about our mission as we are!

What Success Looks Like:

  • Within 60 days: has mapped VIVIO's current reporting process, identified the highest-priority data quality gaps, and is producing at least one recurring client report independently.
  • Within 90 days: recurring client reports ship on schedule with zero client-identified data errors, measured and reported monthly.
  • Within 120 days: quarterly reporting prep time for Client Success is meaningfully reduced, and a first version of a repeatable reporting pipeline is in place for the largest clients.
  • Within a year: recurring client reports are generated from automated pipelines with documented validation checks
  • Ongoing: is the trusted source of truth for client savings and utilization data across Client Success, Sales, and Partnerships.
