Healthcare Data & Analytics Project Manager Enterprise Data Project Manager:

The client is seeking an experienced Healthcare Data & Analytics Project Manager to support enterprise data engineering and AI adoption initiatives.The ideal candidate will lead complex technical projects involving data modernization, analytics, cloud platforms, and AI-driven transformation programs.

This role is responsible for planning, coordination, business analysis, project monitoring, stakeholder communication, requirements gathering, and implementation oversight for enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions. The candidate will work closely with technical project managers, data engineers, architects, business stakeholders, and AI teams to ensure successful delivery of data-driven initiatives.

The position requires strong leadership experience managing healthcare data initiatives, enterprise analytics programs, cloud-based projects, and cross-functional technical teams. Candidates should possess excellent communication, budgeting, planning, and stakeholder management skills, along with familiarity with healthcare compliance and modern enterprise technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead enterprise data, analytics, cloud, and AI-driven technical projects from planning through delivery.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, data engineers, developers, analysts, vendors, and business stakeholders.

  • Manage requirements gathering, business analysis, project planning, implementation, and status reporting activities.

  • Support healthcare data engineering and AI adoption initiatives within enterprise environments.

  • Define project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, budgets, and success metrics.

  • Monitor project risks, dependencies, deliverables, and resource allocation activities.

  • Facilitate communication between business, technical, and executive stakeholders.

  • Support data architecture, data modeling, data warehousing, and cloud modernization initiatives.

  • Maintain project documentation including project plans, schedules, charters, and lessons learned.

  • Support issue resolution, change management, and project governance processes.

  • Collaborate with technical teams on platform modernization, analytics, and AI/ML initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare governance, security, and regulatory requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support AI, advanced analytics, and digital transformation programs.

  • Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and financial status reporting.

  • Utilize project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, and Smartsheet.

  • Facilitate workshops, executive updates, and stakeholder presentations.

  • Promote collaboration across technical and business teams.

  • Support SDLC, enterprise architecture, and governance best practices.

Required Skills:

  • 15+ years of experience managing enterprise technical projects or programs.

  • Strong experience leading data analytics, data warehousing, and cloud-based initiatives.

  • Experience managing business intelligence, big data, and enterprise analytics programs.

  • Experience supporting healthcare data initiatives and regulated environments.

  • Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, CCDA, and HL7 preferred.

  • Working knowledge of SQL and database technologies.

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, vendors, budgets, and timelines.

  • Strong communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to executive audiences.

  • Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or Smartsheet.

  • Understanding of SDLC, enterprise architecture, governance, and cloud technologies.

  • Experience supporting AI, advanced analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.

  • Strong consulting, facilitation, and organizational skills.

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Healthcare IT, or related field preferred.

  • PMP Certification is Mandatory and must be listed on the resume.

  • PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or similar certifications preferred.

  • TOGAF, Cloud Solution Architecture, or Azure/AWS/GCP certifications required/preferred.

  • Healthcare industry experience is mandatory.
