Job description

Job Description
A chemical manufacturing company is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team. Work hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Job Duties:
  • Enter orders and look up inventory
  • Give pricing and handle quotes
  • Maintain shipping documents
  • Communicate upbeat and professionally with customers via email and telephone
  • Trace daily orders through various carriers to make sure orders arrive to customers on time
  • Adjust orders at customer request when needed
  • Perform other office duties as assigned

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Must have previous Customer Service experience
  • Must have experience using Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, SalesForce, and Adobe while having accurate data entry skills
  • Must have an articulate, professional, and upbeat phone voice
  • Must have excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills

Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. Experience with shipping, bills of lading, and knowledge of the chemical industry would be a huge plus.
