Corporate Controller
LaSalle Network is hiring for a Corporate Controller to join a growing manufacturing organization in Des Plaines. This is an opportunity for an experienced accounting leader to oversee financial operations, mentor a high-performing team and partner with executive leadership to drive strategic business decisions. If you're a hands-on Corporate Controller with deep manufacturing expertise and SAP experience, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
  • Lead all accounting operations, including AP, AR, Payroll, General Ledger, Fixed Assets and CAPEX accounting
  • Own the monthly, quarterly and annual close process
  • Oversee corporate tax compliance, cash management and banking relationships
  • Direct budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
  • Prepare executive financial reporting and variance analysis
  • Coordinate external financial statement and 401(k) audits
  • Strengthen internal controls and identify process improvement opportunities
  • Develop, coach and mentor the accounting team
  • Partner with leadership on strategic financial initiatives

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing
  • Cost accounting expertise
  • Seven or more years of accounting leadership experience
  • Seven or more years of SAP experience
  • Experience managing corporate tax, financial reporting and internal controls
  • CPA preferred
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or MBA preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership and analytical skills
