The Front Desk Coordinator / Accounting Clerk is responsible for greeting visitors, answering telephones, and performing general administrative and accounting work. If you have a friendly, outgoing personality with the desire to progress in your career, we want to meet you!


Schedule:

  • 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday
  • We are open to Full-time or Part-time applicants!


Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and assist with signing in process. Maintain daily visitor log and manage list of employees in visitor system.
  • Ensure and support business security control.
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls. Take and deliver messages as needed
  • Keep the lobby/reception area and conference rooms clean, neat and attractive. Prepare welcome signs for visitors, update TV monitor, maintain magazines, seasonal decorations
  • Assist with the scheduling of meetings. Maintain and post conference room schedules
  • Coordinate daily sign in sheets for temporary employees
  • Sort & distribute US Mail
  • Arrange courier services as needed & keep records
  • Order food for employee meetings and guests
  • Post and manage company messages/announcements slide show in in breakroom
  • Order and manage inventory of supply items including office supplies, toner, breakroom supplies and beverages for visitors.
  • Coordinate and verify service and supplies with coffee and breakroom supply vendors.
  • Assist with the planning and carrying out company functions, celebrations and social events.
  • Assist with purchasing, accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Send out, receive and follow-up on customer credit check inquiries
  • Participate in Accounting related projects
  • Provide back-up support to Accounting team members
  • Assist with company data entry, reports or special projects
  • Assists other departments, completes special projects and performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma plus one year experience in a similar role required.
  • Customer service focused with a friendly cheerful positive demeanor for dealing with both internal and external customers in person and on the phone.
  • Organized, attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and principles, data entry, reconciling and record keeping.
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks for timely completion. Confidentiality of business information and records.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
