Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Investment Analyst / Senior Associate to support our investment review activities and portfolio management in the North American energy and infrastructure sectors. In this role, you will act as a key internal reviewer and evaluator for global investment projects and strategic partnerships.
Your primary responsibility will be to review financial models, assess investment risks of proposed transactions, and synthesize critical insights to support executive decision-making and cross-border project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
  • Investment Review & Evaluation
    • Review and analyze investment proposals, information memorandums, and project structures for North American energy and maritime infrastructure assets proposed by corporate partners and strategic affiliates.
    • Assess the feasibility of utilizing our entity as an investment vehicle, identifying potential structural, financial, and operational risks.
  • Investment Risk Analysis
    • Analyze and stress-test financial models prepared by partners or external advisors to verify returns, cash flows, and key risk parameters.
    • Evaluate financial and commercial risks of proposed transaction structures and provide internal feedback to mitigate potential downside risks.
  • Due Diligence Review & Coordination
    • Review financial and legal due diligence reports provided by external advisors and summarize critical findings for internal stakeholders.
    • Coordinate communication, information sharing, and alignment between our entity and deal-executing partners.
  • Executive Reporting & Project Liaison
    • Draft concise investment summary reports, risk assessment memos, and decision-support materials for local executive leadership.
    • Support reporting, governance alignment, and strategic communication regarding global investment status and administrative updates.
Required Qualifications
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience in Corporate M&A, Private Equity, Investment Banking, or Deal Advisory.
  • Proven experience in reviewing and analyzing complex financial models, investment reports, and due diligence documents.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is required
  • Eligible to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA.
  • Prior experience reviewing transaction structures with a strong understanding of corporate finance and valuation principles.
  • Basic understanding of North American infrastructure markets, energy assets, or maritime industry fundamentals.
