This is a 6-month contract to assist with Sapiens UAT


POSITION SUMMARY:

The Temporary Accountant will work directly with the Assistant Divisional Controller on the Sapiens Reinsurance PRO system implementation initiative. The accountant will be responsible for reviewing/validating premium and loss cessions calculated by Reinsurance PRO ensuring system accuracy and confirm calculations tie to Program Accountants manual billings.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist in validating system premium and loss calculations ensuring accurate results by program
  • Investigate discrepancies between system calculations versus manual processing results
  • Collaborate with program accounting staff and IT as needed to assist with data validation
  • Conduct high level analysis of system Pre-Production versus Production and validate results


Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum 3-5 yearsโ€™ experience in Reinsurance Accounting required.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reconciliation required.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate at all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
