Hello, I’m Caroline, a Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance roles. I handle two types of placements: temporary and permanent positions on Montreal’s South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates within your industry. We cover roles in accounting, finance, and payroll. I am currently seeking a Real Estate Chief Accountant for my client based on the South Shore. This is a permanent hybrid position. Mission - Manage and coordinate a team responsible for day-to-day accounting operations and bookkeeping - Oversee the entire accounting cycle and ensure the quality of financial reports - Lead monthly closing processes in accordance with established deadlines - Analyze and validate financial statements, including variances and balance sheet items - Ensure the reliability and integrity of financial data for managed entities - Work closely with operational teams to ensure the effective flow of financial information Your profile - College degree in accounting or a related field - Relevant accounting experience, with some experience supervising a team (a plus) - Ability to manage priorities, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail - Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making - Excellent organizational and communication skills - Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written - Proficiency in Excel and computer skills PROCESS: Initial interview with Caroline Vansteene, Recruitment Consultant, followed by an interview with the Human Resources Director.
