To thrive as a Television Development Executive, you need a strong background in media, creative storytelling, and project management, often supported by a degree in film, communications, or a related field. Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as Final Draft, script coverage software, and pitch presentation platforms is essential, along with a solid understanding of market trends.
