About the Job You're Considering

We are seeking a Telecom Provisioning Engineer with strong OSS/BSS expertise to design, build, and maintain service provisioning solutions. This role will support automation, system integration, and service lifecycle management across complex telecom environments.

Your role
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated provisioning workflows for telecom services (e.g., broadband, voice, video, enterprise networking).
  • Build and enhance integrations between OSS/BSS platforms, network elements, and third-party systems.
  • Develop APIs, microservices, and backend components to support provisioning and service orchestration.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical provisioning solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve provisioning failures and system integration issues.
  • Collaborate with Network Engineering teams to understand device-level configurations and provisioning requirements.
  • Support lifecycle management including activation, modification, suspension, and decommissioning of services.
  • Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and transformation initiatives (e.g., legacy to modern OSS platforms).
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of provisioning systems.
  • Contribute to automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • Maintain documentation for provisioning logic, workflows, and integrations.
Your skills and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-7+ years of experience in telecom provisioning / OSS development.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more languages: Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with REST APIs, Microservices architecture, and system integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with OSS/BSS systems and service provisioning platforms.
  • Knowledge of telecom protocols and concepts (e.g., IP networking, MPLS, Ethernet, VoIP).
  • Experience working with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $68,911-$161,544.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
