You will have the opportunity to answerinbound calls to the switchboardanddistributethe calls to theappropriate departmentor individual.This position handles all emergency events in a calm and efficient manner following the established process for the facility in which the emergency event occurs.

Shift Details: Full Time Night:

Week 1: Mon & Tue 8p-6a (Plaza), Fri 7p-5a (Plaza), Sat 7p-5a (Smithville); Week 2: Sun 7p-5a (Smithville), Mon & Tue 8p-6a (Plaza), Sat 7p-5a (Plaza); Week 3: Sun 7p-5a (Plaza), Mon & Tue 8p-6a (Plaza), Wed 7p-5a (Plaza)

This position will be located at both Smithville and Saint Luke's Hospital

Responsibilities:

  • Provides helpful information to internal and external callers

  • Maintains detailed documentation in theappropriate communicationlogs

  • Dispatches Security requests usingtwo wayradiosin a timely manner

  • Monitors alerts and alarms

  • Notifiesappropriate departmentsor individuals whenrequired

  • Assistswith mentoring and training of new employees
