Job description

Title: MEP Superintendent Location: Indiana (onsite) - US Duration: 12 months, possible extensions Compensation: $70-80/hr Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. Skillset / Experience: MEP Superintendent Position Overview We are seeking an experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Superintendent to support large-scale, mission-critical construction projects. This role provides hands-on, onsite leadership overseeing all MEP field activities and coordinating closely with construction management, general contractors, and trade partners. The MEP Superintendent is responsible for driving safety, quality, schedule, and field execution through strong site presence and technical leadership. Required Qualifications Experience
  • 5+ years of experience as an MEP Superintendent or similar field leadership role
  • Experience supporting complex MEP systems on large commercial, industrial, or
mission-critical projects
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, including cooling infrastructure (liquid cooling or chilled water experience is a plus)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple trades and oversee field installation activities
  • Strong background in direct field supervision and daily coordination
Technical Knowledge
  • Solid understanding of MEP systems, including:
    • Electrical distribution systems (medium and low voltage) Mechanical and cooling systems
    • Fire protection and life safety systems
    • Plumbing and process piping
    • Building automation and monitoring systems
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals
  • Familiarity with commissioning, testing, and system turnover processes
Key Responsibilities Field Leadership & Construction Support
  • Serve as the primary onsite MEP point of contact supporting the construction team
  • Provide daily field oversight of all MEP activities
  • Act as a liaison between construction management, contractors, and trade partners
  • Identify and resolve field issues in real time
Daily Coordination & Site Management
  • Lead daily coordination meetings and site walks
  • Monitor work progress, quality, and safety compliance
  • Coordinate sequencing of MEP activities with other disciplines

  • Enforce quality standards for all MEP installations
