Job Summary
The Telecom Expense Analyst (ITSM - Telecom) is responsible for managing enterprise-wide telecommunications expense management, vendor coordination, billing accuracy, inventory consolidation, and cost optimization. This role focuses on streamlining telecom billing platforms, publishing accurate metrics, and supporting leadership with financial forecasting, reporting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consolidate and develop a robust enterprise-wide Telecom cost structure and single billing platform.
  • Streamline and transform current telecom inventory and billing platforms.
  • Forecast monthly and quarterly run rates and analyze changes.
  • Develop and manage processes for ordering and disconnecting telecom services.
  • Work closely with IT teams and field teams to support technology deployment and billing lifecycle.
  • Lead TEM platform integration and migration, ensuring accurate reporting and metrics.
  • Oversee work performed by third-party telecom vendors and resolve issues as required.
  • Direct audits, maintenance, and verification of telecom billing for accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage charge-back models and contract compliance for cellular, voice, data, and international services.
  • Support RFP processes, review contracts, SLAs, and KPIs to ensure best practices.
  • Manage IT and telecom carrier SLAs and develop reports for senior leadership.
  • Participate in and support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC regulations and training requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 6-8 years of experience in Telecom Expense Management (TEM) or ITSM Telecom roles.
  • Strong experience managing telecom billing, inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale telecom projects and platform migrations.
  • Experience forecasting telecom costs and analyzing run-rate trends.
  • Hands-on experience managing carrier SLAs, KPIs, and contract compliance.
  • Strong understanding of telecom services including cellular, voice, data, and international networks.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related discipline.
  • Strong project management skills using standard PM tools and techniques.
