The Sr Analyst, IT Business Services, works independently and collaborates with broader teams. The Senior Analyst creates and utilizes various tools and methods to provide support to end users, projects and business leaders on a regular and ad hoc basis. The role works with project sponsors, various IT leaders, business and clinical leaders and project managers to assess, analyze and develop business needs and requirements for potential IT projects/initiatives. The Sr Analyst, IT Business Services, compiles data and creates reports in formal and informal documents including reports and dashboards.
Responsibilities
  • Explore new processes and tools/systems to improve metric tracking, ensure efficient processes and increase knowledge sharing with the collaboration of internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze, diagnose and determine the root cause of medium to complex issues; resolve the issue or escalate to appropriate resources, internally or externally, for remediation.
  • Identify and communicate potential business and technical risks to IT team members and leaders and support office business staff and leaders.
  • Create, manage and maintain knowledge of systems, products and procedures through interactions with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proactively educate and facilitate IT Governance processes across the enterprise.
  • Develop and maintain common project artifact repositories.
  • Analyze, identify and evaluate all potential business, technology, and vendor solutions including development of Request for Information (RFIs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Develop ancillary artifacts such as business requirements, workflow diagrams, business process diagrams, gap analysis, technical diagrams, and presentations to support project work.
  • Ensure that project requirements are accurately identified and documented, business needs are defined, and any assumptions or limitations are documented.
  • Manage expectations and effective communication with project team members, sponsors, stakeholders, business leaders, as well as internal and external IT Stakeholders and leaders.
  • Participate in cross-functional communications, meetings and projects to support the IT organization.
  • Facilitates alignment of project management with strategy and objectives of the IT Leadership team and assists with resource capacity management.
  • Assists project managers with the development and execution of project plans and associated project documentation.
  • Participates in staff development activities enhancing internal and inter-departmental relationships.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study from an accredited college or university. In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in information management or related field.

Preferred
  • Experience in Dental, Medical, Healthcare or retail industry.

Compensation Information
$75,000.00-$93,000.00 / Annually
