Job Description

Title: Sr. Telecom Engineer+ VCSS, IDS+ single mode and multimode fiber cables

Location: Sacramento CA

Description: We are looking to fill a position for Sr. Telecom engineer in Sacramento CA.

Mandatory Requirements

1. Minimum 10 or more years of experience in telecommunication engineering, design, and implementation of telecommunication systems (fiber optic transport system, VHF/UHF and microwave radio transmission system, communication cable infrastructure, high voltage protection in substations, grounding systems, DC Power Systems, and etc)

2. Minimum 7 or more years of experience in engineering and design of Security Systems - physical access control system (PACS), Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Video Camera Surveillance Systems (VCSS).

3. Proficient in AutoCAD system and techniques.

4. Must have 5 years of experience and knowledge in telecommunications cable infrastructure design - Category 6, 6A, singlemode and multimode fiber cables.

5. Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering from an accredited college or university.


Qualifications

Desired Skills:

1. Telecommunication Industry Certifications (e.g. RCDD, etc)

2. Manufacturer Certification in Radio, Microwave, Fiber, SONET, DWDM, -48VDC Power, or other related telecommunication systems.

3. NEC, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code and Fire Protection Systems

4. Knowledgeable in the theories, principles, and operation of telecommunication systems.

5. Knowledgeable in the theories, principles, and operation of electrical generation, distribution and transmission systems
