Job description

Senior RF / Microwave Filter Design Engineer

Design and deliver high‐performance RF & microwave filter products for mission‐critical avionics, defense, radar, and telecom applications. This role offers full ownership of filter designs—from concept and simulation through prototype, qualification, and production release.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, simulate, and prototype RF/microwave filters (lumped & distributed).

  • Lead filter development projects from requirements → production.

  • Optimize designs for performance, size, power handling, cost, and manufacturability.

  • Perform hands‐on bench tuning, testing, and troubleshooting.

  • Support production transitions, upgrades, and obsolescence solutions.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • BSEE or MSEE (MSEE preferred).

  • 10+ years RF/Microwave experience, including 5+ years in filter design.

  • Experience with cavity and dielectric resonator filters.

  • Knowledge of high‐power RF filters (300W+) and EM simulation tools.

  • Familiarity with avionics, military comms, radar, or telecom systems.

  • Able to work with ITAR‐controlled data.
