Garfield County Public Library District (District) is seeking a highly collaborative, creative, and community-focused Youth Services Coordinator to join our Glenwood Springs Branch Library team. We are looking for someone who thrives in a team environment, values partnership, and understands that exceptional library service is built through strong relationships with coworkers, patrons, schools, and community organizations.
This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality youth services, with a primary focus on early literacy, elementary-age children, and tween programming and services. The Youth Services Coordinator will work closely with the branch's Teen Library Associate, sharing ideas, coordinating services, and partnering to ensure teens have engaging programs, collections, and opportunities that meet their unique needs. Success in this role requires a strong ability to communicate effectively, support colleagues, contribute positively to a team culture, and collaborate across departments and throughout the District to create outstanding experiences for youth and families.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary range - actual placement dependent on experience and qualifications:
  • Hiring salary range (MLIS): $27.73 - $30.57/hr; full salary range: $27.73 - $35.39/hr;
  • Hiring salary range (non-MLIS): $25.75 - $28.39; full salary range: $25.75 - $32.86/hr;
