Job description

GARNEY CONSTRUCTION

Technology Training Specialist position is available at Garney. The Technology Training Specialist designs, develops, and delivers engaging technology training that supports employee adoption of organizational systems and digital tools. This role facilitates both in-person and virtual learning across multiple locations and varying levels of technical proficiency.

This position supports organizational effectiveness by partnering with IT, Learning & Development, and operational teams to assess training needs, develop targeted learning solutions, and support technology implementations and digital transformation initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
  • Deliver instructor-led and virtual training on enterprise systems and tools
  • Develop role-based training materials, job aids, and documentation
  • Assess training needs and adapt content for varying skill levels
  • Support system implementations and technology rollouts in partnership with IT and business teams
  • Provide coaching, post-implementation support, and troubleshooting for end users
  • Measure training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on feedback and usage data
  • Maintain training resources and report adoption metrics to leadership
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Proven organizational, project coordination, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and in collaboration with others
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and experience training on enterprise systems (e.g., collaboration tools, HRIS, CRM)
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Learning & Development, Information Systems, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in training, instructional design, or technology support
  • Minimum 2 years of construction industry experience with field exposure
  • Experience coordinating training across multiple locations and environments (office, classroom, field)
  • Experience with Procore, elearning tools (Articulate 360), and instructional design certifications (preferred)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%; valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
