Job Overview
Job Title: Program Manager
Job Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Job Responsibilities
Trace Systems is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support our on-site team based in Colorado Springs, CO. The Program Manager will effectively and efficiently manage the workforce and provide a single interface point for reporting directly to the Government representatives and executing contract requirements under the guidance of the Government contract officer. The ideal candidate shall provide project management, administration, quality control, and leadership of the execution.
Responsibilities include:
  • Manage project schedules and coordinate contractor activities in accordance with the contract.
  • Provide project updates to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
  • Monitor progress and adjust as needed.
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop rough order of magnitude estimates for contract modifications.
  • Develop transition and migration plans.
  • Review and create documentation and provide edits for approval.
  • Gather stakeholder requirements.
  • Identify and communicate issues and risks to the Government and offer recommendations on how issues and risks should be mitigated to successfully satisfy requirements.

Salary Minimum: $145,000
Salary Maximum: $160,000
The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the Trace salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition, Trace provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, flexible spending accounts, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, company holidays and paid time off (PTO).
Minimum Qualifications
  • An Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
  • Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience of IT/Communications projects and/or professionals
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with deployable communications systems

  • Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with individuals and groups.
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Aptitude to thrive in a team atmosphere, while defining issues/hypotheses, performing complex analysis, and assisting with preparation and recommendations of solution alternatives.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, meet deadlines and focus despite conflicting demands with minimal supervision.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field. Preferred in relevant technical discipline, business, or accounting/finance.
