Senior Manager, Program Management manages and supervises several project teams, assesses resources needs, supports collaboration across several stakeholders, and provides regular updates to senior stakeholders on project performance.
Responsibilities
  • Supports colleagues in managing, directing, and supervising several project teams, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork to achieve program goals
  • Assesses resource needs and makes strategic decisions to optimize resource allocation and project efficiency
  • Co-creates solutions with senior stakeholders to identify program needs and develop innovative solutions that align with business objectives
  • Develops and implements processes that encourage the adoption of best practices and innovative approaches to program management
  • Develops and designs thorough risk assessments and ensures all project activities comply with relevant regulatory standards and organizational policies
  • Guides and supports coordination, collaboration, and alignment between product owners, architects, and engineers to meet regulatory and technical requirements
  • Provides regular updates to senior stakeholders on project performance, ensuring transparency and alignment with strategic objectives
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with engineering teams to facilitate alignment on the architectural approach and technical strategy to execute delivery
  • Effectively negotiates and influences senior business leaders to reach desired project outcomes, adapts to situations to resolve issues and gain alignment
  • Oversees the full life cycle of product development, from concept to delivery, including Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Co-creates solutions with key stakeholders to identify program needs and develop innovative solutions that align with business objectives
  • Analyzes project data and industry trends, identifies opportunities and recommendations for operational improvements
  • Facilitates the management and integration of multiple complex projects and programs simultaneously, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and adherence to timelines and budgets
  • May or may not oversee and mentor a team of Technology Program Management colleagues, enabling a culture of continuous learning, growth opportunities, and inclusivity for individual colleagues and teams through mentoring, feedback, and metrics, and ensuring adherence to best practices and standards
  • May or may not provide direct leadership and coaching to Technology Program Management teams, supporting training and development of best practices
  • May or may not manage resource allocation, project timeline, and budget for projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • May or may not collaborate with senior leadership to hire top talent for the team, ensuring a high-functioning and cohesive unit, implementing strategies for talent retention and professional development
  • Collaborates and co-creates effectively with teams in product and the business to align technology initiatives with business objectives

Qualifications
Education Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or comparable experience; advanced degree preferred
  • MBA or Master's degree Engineering, Analytics and/or comparable experience; advanced degree preferred
  • Knowledge of Financial Modeling
  • Work Experience:
  • Experience in technology vendor management and Information Technology services
  • Experience in leading in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic global environment
  • Experience in large-scale & complex program delivery comrpised of multiple interlinked projects
  • Experience in managing/leading technology implementation projects
  • Experience in project management and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello, Asana, Excel, Tableau)
  • Experience in budgeting and financial planning/management
  • Experience in business case development
  • Experience in data analysis
  • Experience in stakeholder management and/or leading complex governance structures
  • Licenses and Certifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMI) or equivalent Project Management certification (e.g., Certified Project Management Practitioner, International Project Management Association / Prince 2 / CSM - Certified Scrum Master / CSPO - Certified Scrum product owner)
