Job Title: Engineering Program Manager
Location: Phoenix AZ
Pay Rate: $40/hr on W2
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of capital projects and site improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, HFC, and Operations teams to identify and prioritize capital equipment requirements.
- Support new product integration activities, facility moves, and site preparations for upcoming contracts and programs.
- Develop detailed project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Conduct equipment sourcing, vendor evaluations, and pricing analysis based on engineering and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and present project updates, cost analyses, and performance metrics to site leadership.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to long-term operational and strategic planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading capital project planning and execution.
- Experience with equipment specification, procurement, and vendor negotiations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control experience.
