Information TechnologyJob Summary:The IT Site Lead's role is to ensure the efficient operation of information technology in alignment with the business objectives of the Plant. This individual will plan and direct the daily operational activities of the IT department. The IT Site Lead will work closely with both corporate IT, and other Plant departments to implement and support cost-effective technology solutions. This person will ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and best practices. They will ensure efficient and reliable Plant IT services.Job Description:

Major Responsibilities:

  • Information Systems Development, Implementation & Support

  • Directs the support of existing systems, ensures that operational problems are solved in a timely fashion and that the technology performance levels meet or exceed the users' business requirements.

  • Directs and coordinates the planning and implementation, including all phases of system design, configuration, programming, installation, and operations for Site IT operations.

  • Ensure proper functioning of the plant information systems, minimize system downtime and make proactive upgrades as necessary.

  • Assist business operations in utilizing information systems to improve efficiency.

  • Responsible for defining high availability network and PC recovery procedures and testing of those procedures on a regular basis.

  • Assists the IT Security & Disaster Recovery team to incorporate network and pc recovery procedures in overall disaster recovery plan.

  • Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, and other documentation for infrastructure projects and associated efforts.

  • Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors.

  • Maintains communications equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, remote access, etc.), and manages phone system implementation at the Plant.

  • Ensure knowledge and management of CF Plant technology stack: Cisconetworks, Dell hardware, Azure stack servers, Windows Server Operating System, MicrosoftIntune,AutoPilotandSharePoint,SAP Corporate ERP

  • Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the Plant IT infrastructure and IT systems.

  • Develop Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to establish problem resolution expectations and timeframes. Measure and report on SLA attainment. Initiate programs to achieve target SLAs.

  • On-call availability evenings and weekends as needed.

  • Practice asset management for IT hardware, software, and equipment.

  • Organization, Administration and Personnel Management

  • Assess, develops, retains, and recruits IT talent that will support the ongoing needs of the business.

  • Manages and assigns personnel; devises and evaluates the staff's work; and prepares performance evaluations.

  • Coaches and mentors subordinates, identifies training needs and recommends development programs.

Supervisory Relationships:

Position Reports to: Enterprise Manager Plant IT

Incumbent Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.

  • 3+ years in IT Services with an emphasis on service desk management in the manufacturing, chemicals or oil & gas industries typically required to fulfill necessary responsibilities of the position.

  • Proficiency with these IT Management and Governance processes: change management, configuration management, asset management, release and patch management, incident resolution and request fulfillment.

  • Troubleshoots and solves new challenges with established technology.

  • Highly self-motivated and directed. Keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage a large environment with multiple direct reports.

The following is not required but would be considered an asset:

  • Previous supervisory experience/contractor management.

  • Familiarity with ITIL practices for IT service management.

  • Some experience in project management environment.

The estimated base pay for the position is typically between $99,500 - 139,900

The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range.

In addition to base pay, an incentive program is available to all full-time employees, and a comprehensive benefits package including two medical plan options, a health savings plan with a company contribution and a match, dental and vision benefits, a well-being incentive program, 401(k) Plan which provides a potential of receiving between 10% and 13% of employer's contribution, life and disability insurance, paid time off programs and much more!
