This role will be responsible for managing complex cross-functional projects involving AI implementations, operational transformation, technology deployments, process improvement initiatives, and organizational change.

Position Summary
The Project Manager will partner closely with Operations, Customer Service, Nursing, Intake, IT, Training, Quality, Compliance, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives.
This position serves as the primary driver of project execution, governance, communication, and accountability while ensuring stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Define project scope, objectives, assumptions, dependencies, and success criteria.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Establish project governance structures and reporting processes.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address issues impacting delivery.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.

AI & Technology Implementation Leadership
  • Lead implementation efforts related to AI, automation, workflow optimization, and operational technology solutions.
  • Coordinate activities between internal teams and external technology vendors.
  • Support solution testing, validation, training, and go-live readiness activities.
  • Manage implementation timelines, risks, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate issue resolution during implementation and stabilization phases.
  • Ensure successful transition from project implementation to operational ownership.

Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
  • Identify, document, and manage project risks.
  • Develop mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Escalate critical issues appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain risk, issue, and decision log
  • Monitor interdependencies across multiple initiatives.
  • Facilitate resolution of project obstacles and competing priorities.

Stakeholder Management
  • Partner with executive leadership, operational leaders, and project team members.
  • Facilitate project steering committee meetings.
  • Build strong relationships across departments.
  • Ensure stakeholder expectations are clearly defined and managed.
  • Coordinate communication among internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive accountability for project deliverables and commitments.

Communication & Executive Reporting
  • Prepare executive-level project status reports and presentations.

  • Track vendor deliverables and contractual commitments.
  • Manage project capacity and resource conflicts.
  • Identify opportunities to improve resource utilization.
  • Support business case development and financial tracking.

Performance Monitoring
  • Track project performance against scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
  • Develop project dashboards and reporting metrics.
  • Monitor milestone achievement and project health indicators.

Requirements
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Five (5) or more years of project management experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience managing technology implementations and organizational change initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership.

Preferred
  • Healthcare, DME, payer, revenue cycle, or healthcare operations experience.
  • Experience managing AI, automation, or digital transformation projects.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Prosci Change Management certification.
  • Experience managing third-party technology vendors.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project methodologies.
