Job Summary:
Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry. They are seeking a Program Manager responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of projects, providing guidance to project teams, and executing acquisition strategies for technology development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects
• Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
• Providing technical and analytical guidance to project team
• Developing and executing acquisition strategies on behalf of the government customer to execute program management balancing cost, schedule and performance across a range of technology development initiatives
• Developing and refining contracting documentation on behalf of the government customer to enable the government to award innovative contracts that mature technology across a range of disparate technologies
• Coordinating, facilitating, and participating in meetings across multiple time zones with a variety of stakeholders and summarize the proceedings
• Preparing and staffing international documentation on behalf of the government customer to enable international project arrangements to be executed
• Maintaining knowledge and awareness all other complimentary and competitive technology maturation initiatives across the Department of Defense
• Preparing papers, presentations, reports, and administrative packages on program management support issues in response to direction from TRMC leadership
Qualifications:
Required:
• 10+ years of experience in Project/Program Management in the acquisition/development/release for DOD platforms
• Solid analytical skills based on work experience
• Excellent verbal, written communications, and interpersonal skills along with a professional appearance and countenance
• Comfortable interacting with high level individuals and functions well independently and in a fast paced, high pressure team environment
• Ability to take projects from original concept through final implementation
• Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
• Ability to travel mostly CONUS in the National Capital Region
• Proficient in Microsoft Professional Office Suite in a Windows environment
Preferred:
• DIWIA level III Certification in Program Management
• Served in at least one Critical Acquisition Position; Chartered Product/Project Manager Preferable
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or project management field from an accredited college or university
• Service in the Pentagon for more than 12 months
• Ability to work and interact across the Military Departments and multiple offices of the Secretary of Defense as well as industry and private citizens at a senior level
• Comfortable working a variety of disparate issues in a fluid environment simultaneously
