Overview
The Site MES IT Coordinator position is an exciting opportunity to join PM Group's quickly growing Outsourced Technical Services team at a site near Zebulon, NC. Outsourced Technical Services (OTS) is an integral part of PM Group's ability to support clients across the complete project life cycle. We are seeking an experienced Site MES IT Coordinator to support Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation and ongoing site operations within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role serves as the primary liaison between site users, Operations, Quality, Validation, IT teams, MES specialists, and external implementation partners to ensure successful deployment, adoption, and support of MES solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the main site-level IT coordinator and governance contact for MES projects and support activities.
  • Coordinate site-level MES implementation activities from project planning through go-live, hypercare, and steady-state support.
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Validation, Manufacturing, and IT teams to align business processes and MES requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between site stakeholders, development teams, and support organizations.
  • Track project actions, risks, issues, dependencies, and readiness activities.
  • Support requirements gathering, process improvements, testing, training, and user adoption.
  • Coordinate MES-related infrastructure, device readiness, user access, interfaces, and connectivity.
  • Support issue management, escalation, and ongoing operational support.
  • Maintain MES documentation including SOPs, work instructions, training materials, and support guides.
  • Assist with change requests, impact assessments, testing coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Ability to support users during implementation, go-live, and ongoing operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting MES implementations, manufacturing systems, or site IT projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, shop floor processes, and MES applications.
  • Experience gathering requirements, supporting business process improvements, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with regulated manufacturing environments and computerized system validation (CSV) principles is preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of MES platforms such as Rockwell MES, Werum PAS-X, Siemens Opcenter, or similar solutions.
  • Understanding of MES integrations with ERP, LIMS, automation systems, barcode/labeling solutions, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing support requests, system enhancements, and operational priorities.
