MedQuest Associates, a trusted partner of Novant Health, is seeking dynamic individuals to join our innovative team.  We’re a premier manager of outpatient diagnostic imaging facilities, including 9 breast centers, dedicated to our team members' growth and development through our internal multi-modality training program, and we want you.

Facility:  Durham Diagnostic Imaging - Independence Park

Location:  4323 Ben Franklin Boulevard, Durham, NC 27704

Position Type:  Full-Time

Work Schedule Details: 8:00AM - 4:30PM, M-F, monthly rotating Saturdays


Responsibilities

As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for the integration of scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information. This responsibility includes completing scans effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care possible in order to provide the most remarkable patient experience. 


Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program

  • Certification in Mammography
  • ARRT registered and Mammography registry

  • Completed required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active

  • Active state licensure, where applicable

Prior Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Mammography Technologist

Special Qualifications:

  • Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals

  • Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

  • Continuing education in diagnostic mammography and related fields.
