Job description

Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for producing highly detailed construction drawings and specifications, performing complex electrical engineering calculations, & coordinating with internal & external project team members to ensure successful project delivery. This role will be integrated into a highly technical team, demonstrate strong analytical capability, & consistently deliver high‐quality engineering solutions.
Duties/Responsibilities

  • Power distribution design including medium‐ & low‐voltage systems
  • Lighting system design including photometric analysis & fixture selection
  • Emergency/standby power system design including generators, UPS systems, & automatic transfer schemes
  • Load calculations, panel schedules, & equipment sizing
  • Code analysis including NEC, NFPA, IBC, & local amendments
  • Engineering studies including but not limited to fault current analysis, selective coordination, arch flash, voltage drop calculations, and Neher-McGrath calculations.
  • Coordination with mechanical, structural, architectural, & low‐voltage disciplines
  • Review of submittals, RFIs, & construction‐phase documentation
  • Participation in internal QA/QC processes to ensure accuracy & completeness of deliverables

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit for electrical modeling and design
  • Strong Microsoft Office skillset (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Exceptional attention to detail & accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize tasks & manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills with consistent on‐time project delivery
  • Proven success working with all levels of management & cross‐disciplinary teams
