Job description

We are looking for a talented School to Work - Information Technology (Student) to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Cummins Inc. facility in Atlanta, GA.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Problem-Solving: Strong desire to learn and apply simulation-based product validation processes to validate and optimize automotive powertrain components and systems.
  • Communication Skills: Written and verbal communication skills for creating reports, presenting findings, and working with teams.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well in collaborative environments with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Self-Motivated: Continuously seek out learning opportunities and actively explore emerging technologies to stay ahead and achieve success.

Additional Information

  • College students preferred. 
  • Provide dedicated support to advance IAM initiatives.
  • This role is expected to support approximately 19 hours per week over a twomonth period during the summer.

Compensation (for United States)

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The 

final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's 

qualifications and experience, where appropriate.

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

  • Foundational knowledge of SharePoint design and customization, with the ability to configure pages, web parts, and navigation structures. 
  • Strong interest in Identity and Access Management concepts and the ability to learn IAM processes and terminology quickly. 
  • Basic understanding of user experience and information architecture to design an intuitive, user-friendly internal portal. 
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with IAM stakeholders and incorporate feedback into portal enhancements. 
  • Ability to manage time independently and deliver consistent progress while supporting IAM transformation projects.

Education/Experience

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • In Good Standing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher highly preferred
  • Current Enrollment: You must be a current student in high school or in a college/university pursuing a degree in Technology, Science, Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
