IT Analyst (FullTime, Permanent)

61 Commodities is a global commodity trading firm where technology is critical to daytoday operations, risk management, and business execution.

We are hiring an IT Analyst to strengthen ITs capacity and operational resilience across our global offices. This is a fulltime, permanent role reporting to the Head of IT, designed to provide handson support while owning key operational and systems responsibilities.

The role combines Infrastructure Support and Business Analysis, and is best suited to someone who enjoys working across technical and business problemsolving in a fastpaced, operationally critical environment.


What You Will Do

Infrastructure Support

  • Provide daytoday desktop and enduser support across all offices
  • Manage and escalate MSP tickets, holding vendors accountable to service levels
  • Monitor and maintain core infrastructure, including network, servers, and endpoints
  • Coordinate and deliver IT projects from initiation through execution
  • Execute employee onboarding and offboarding, including access provisioning and orientation
  • Manage IT vendor onboarding, contracts, and ongoing performance
  • Maintain equipment inventory and lifecycle management
  • Produce operational reporting and metrics for IT leadership
  • Support technology workstreams related to acquisitions and integrations

Business Analysis

  • Own escalation and coordination with vendors supporting business applications
  • Administer access and permissions across business systems
  • Gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical changes
  • Manage applicationrelated projects and crossfunctional delivery
  • Maintain and prioritize the IT backlog across infrastructure and application initiatives
  • Support change management for system rollouts and upgrades
  • Assist with technology due diligence and integration during acquisitions


What We Are Looking For

Required

  • 24 years of experience in an IT support, systems, or analyst role
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Experience managing IT vendors or thirdparty service providers
  • Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills across technical and nontechnical stakeholders

Preferred

  • Experience in trading, financial services, or other timesensitive operational environments
  • Familiarity with commodity trading platforms or ETRM/CTRM systems
  • Exposure to compliancedriven IT environments (e.g., SOC 2, NFA, CFTC)
  • Support of Azure, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune
  • Experience supporting multioffice or multijurisdiction environments
  • Project management experience (formal certification not required)


What Success Looks Like

  • First 90 days: You understand 61Cs infrastructure, vendors, and business systems, providing reliable support with minimal escalation.
  • Within six months: You independently manage the IT backlog, execute projects, and act as a trusted resource across the business, materially extending ITs capacity and reducing operational risk.
