Overview


Client First Technologies currently is seeking a Technology Analyst in support of our government customer. The Technology Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining features of a government information system that supports human research protection oversight. The Technology Analyst focuses on providing complete online records, building user capabilities for tracking training and credentials, and maintaining online help systems. This individual develops and maintains custom solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform within a secure government Microsoft 365 cloud environment and contributes to the full software development lifecycle under an Agile Scrum methodology.

Requirements:
  • Develop and maintain a complete online record of protocol and study history, including submissions, document revisions, board actions, decision letters, project status, and communications
  • Build and maintain online search capabilities for protocols, submissions, personnel, and other system data, including searchable access to Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) training data
  • Develop user capabilities for tracking required training and credentials
  • Develop and maintain automated notifications to alert compliance staff of review completions
  • Develop and maintain online help systems, user support documentation, and system information
  • Develop and maintain user “how-to” guides and embedded in-app guidance
  • Enable users to subscribe to system change notifications and release notes
  • Develop, test, and maintain custom solutions using authorized Microsoft 365 cloud tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint Online
  • Support full software development lifecycle activities for approved SCRs, bug fixes, and technical upgrades



Qualifications


  • No specific degree is required as a minimum for this position; a relevant degree is a highly rated, preferred criterion (see Additional Preferred Criteria below)
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in developing and supporting management information systems
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), as well as Project and Adobe Acrobat
  • Must meet the requirements of SECNAV M-5239.2, the “DON Information Assurance Workforce Management Manual” (generally, a current CompTIA Security+ CE certification)



Preferred Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Current and active Microsoft Power Platform certification
  • Experience developing, testing, and troubleshooting MS Power Platform applications
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Experience working with DoW or DON systems and management
  • Experience with Federal, DoW, and DON human research protection requirements



Physical Demands


  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
  • Occasional travel and overtime may be required
