Technician Manager to help lead our support staff team while continuing to contribute hands-on patient care in our collaborative general practice environment.
In this role, you will: - Oversee daily hospital flow and help ensure efficient, high-quality patient care throughout the day
- Delegate tasks appropriately to support workflow efficiency and team success
- Support onboarding, training, and continued development of clinical support staff
- Create and manage staff schedules based on the needs of the business
- Help manage inventory and maintain appropriate stock levels for hospital operations
- Promote a culture of safety by supporting hospital safety initiatives, reinforcing best practices, and helping ensure compliance with workplace safety protocols
- Support veterinarians and clinical staff during outpatient appointments, surgery, and dental procedures as needed
- Foster a positive, accountable, team-oriented culture focused on excellent patient and client care
Schedule:This is a full-time position, with flexible availability needed throughout the week to support the needs of the business.

Minimum qualifications and skill set: - California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP) needs to be obtained within first 90 days of employment.
- 5+ years of veterinary assistant or veterinary technician clinical experience is required
- Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of California - preferred
- 3+ years of Supervisor or Management experience is required
- Strong understanding of hospital workflow, patient care standards, and team delegation
- Experience training and mentoring veterinary support staff
