About the Role
As an IT Support Specialist, you'll serve as a key resource for employees by providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, and ensuring team members have the technology they need to succeed.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on technical work, customer support, and continuous learning. You'll work closely with our Senior Systems Engineer and gain valuable experience across multiple areas of IT operations and infrastructure.
What You'll Do
  • Provide friendly, responsive technical support to employees across all departments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, connectivity, and user access issues
  • Manage service desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service
  • Escalate complex issues when appropriate and follow through to successful completion
  • Create, maintain, and manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and ONWise
  • Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot workstations, laptops, peripherals, and software applications
  • Support new employee onboarding by preparing equipment, configuring system access, and assisting with technology orientation
  • Assist with IT projects and technology initiatives under the guidance of senior IT staff
  • Maintain accurate inventory and asset records for company technology equipment
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and enhance the employee experience

Required Skills / Experience:
  • Associate degree or technical certification from an accredited technical college preferred
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in technical support, service desk, desktop support, or a related IT role
  • Working knowledge of Windows workstations, Microsoft 365 applications, user account administration, and common desktop support practice
  • Experience with Active Directory user and group administration
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, wireless connectivity, and VPN access
