Job description

Our client, a dynamic organization in the technology sector, is seeking a dedicated Technical Support Representative to join their team. As a IT Coordinator, you will be part of the Information Technology department supporting internal teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service, problem-solving skills, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: IT Coordinator  Intern  Part Time Afternoons

Location: Marshfield, MO

Pay Range: 19 - 20 DOE
Shift:  Flexible  20 to 25 per week    Mon to Friday 11:30-4:30PM 

What's the Job?

  • Provide first-tier helpdesk support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person interactions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
  • Manage and prioritize helpdesk ticket queues, ensuring timely resolution and accurate record-keeping.
  • Create and process purchase orders for IT equipment, software, and services, coordinating with vendors for delivery and invoicing.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting manuals.

What's Needed?

  • Associates degree or pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support or coordinator role.
  • Strong understanding of IT hardware and software systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
