Your role
The Technical Team Lead will be the equipment expert for the Intel team to support the installation, upgrades, commissioning and troubleshooting of Edwards Equipment to ensure we are providing technical customer focused support for all Edwards equipment and will allow us to provide 7x12 on-site technical support to the customer.
You will
  • Support Edwards Service and Sales organizations in installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of all Edwards equipment installed onsite.
  • Provide project engineering/management support for new projects proposals and upgrade programs.
  • Provide Expert technical support/first level of escalation for the site team and training for the on-site service team enhancing on-site service teams' ability to support Edwards equipment.
  • Provide feedback to IKAT Technical support group on equipment performance and support requirements.
  • Work closely with the technical support team and PCs to ensure that NPI, CIP projects receive the appropriate field input and the local site team(s) have the Training, procedures and the parts needed for CIPs and NPIs.
  • Develop local work instructions and procedures as required to support installation, maintenance and continuous improvement programs.
  • Lead on site regularly scheduled technical meetings to ensure that the site team is aware of all technical issues and lesson learned.
  • Work with the team lead and site manager to ensure 7x24 escalation support for the site team
To succeed, you will need
Education level
AS degree or equivalent in relevant technical field (full military equivalent may substitute for AS with HR and supervisory approval) -OR- 4+ years' related technical experience (i.e., military, electromechanical devices, comms).
Relevant Previous experience
5 years related industry experience including the completion of relevant training and competencies profiles defined within the training plan for the current position and has demonstrated understanding of the product.
Knowledge areas/Skills
Electronic, mechanical, chemical, or gas in the Semiconductor industry is preferred.

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent organization, prioritizing, multi-tasking and customer service skills.
  • Strong customer service skills. Must be capable of exercising independent judgment, work with minimal or no supervision, read drawings/diagrams and understand defined specifications.
  • Good interpersonal skills, be a self-starter and strong finisher
  • Good written and oral presentation skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
