This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.

This role is part of the Talent Acquisition team supporting Blue Origin's Space Vehicles division. In this role, you will recruit highly specialized engineering talent in areas of Structural, Mechanical, Avionics and Electrical Engineering, as well as roles requiring a security clearance.

As a part of a team of talented and collaborative Talent Specialists, you will be responsible for identifying, interviewing and hiring the best and the brightest to design, test, manufacture and launch reusable spaceflight systems. Combining your innovative spirit and recruiting acumen, you will help shape the future of human spaceflight by enabling Team Blue to acquire the talent that will solidify our vision of Millions of People Living and Working in Space!

We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!

This is a Full Time Employee, on-site position. Remote work is not available for this role.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Act as subject matter expert and strategic talent advisor to leadership at all levels

  • Develop sourcing models and plans to generate talent pools, networks and pipelines; create and execute robust search strategies, calibrate candidates with hiring managers

  • Develop prospects into candidates. Engage, sustain relationships, screen and interview

  • Collaborate, coach and develop other members of the Talent Acquisition Team

  • Partner with hiring managers, business unit leaders and other members of Team Blue by leading and participating in scoping discussions, weekly tag ups and candidate debriefs

  • Prepare/contribute to search status reports and lead/participate in client update meetings on active searches

  • Dive deep with an inquisitive mindset into the technical requirements of the requisitions and business units you will be supporting

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent of experience in recruiting

  • 5+ years of Technical Recruiting experience to include Engineering, Manufacturing, or IT positions

  • Strong professional communication skills and demonstrated ability to influence and advise business leaders

  • Demonstrated success in generating leads using a variety of platforms and sourcing methods

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Manufacturing, Space, Aerospace and Defense, Oil & Gas, Nuclear Power, Technology, Aviation industries

  • Proficiency with Workday

  • Exempt and non exempt position recruiting experience

  • Combination of agency and corporate environment recruiting experience

  • High volume recruiting experience

  • Startup experience


Base Pay Range for:

WA applicants is $112,059.00 - $156,882.60

  • Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
