Project Manager – Audio Visual (AV)

Location: Hollywood, FL (On-Site)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the Audio Visual (AV) industry to oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of commercial AV projects. This is an on-site position based in Hollywood, Florida.

The ideal candidate will have recent, hands-on experience managing AV projects and serving as the primary point of contact between clients, internal teams, vendors, and installation personnel. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential.

Important: Recent Audio Visual industry experience is required. Candidates without direct AV project management experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple Audio Visual projects from initiation through completion.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Conduct project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Review project documentation, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Manage change orders and maintain accurate project records.
  • Support installation teams and ensure quality standards are met throughout project execution.
  • Foster strong client relationships and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of recent Project Management experience within the Audio Visual (AV) industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial AV systems, including conferencing, video distribution, digital signage, control systems, and integrated technology solutions.
  • Proven track record managing AV installations and integration projects.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
  • Ability to read and interpret project documentation, drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Hollywood, Florida.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CTS, CTS-I, PMP, or related industry certifications.
