Work you'll do

As a Senior, Technical Program Management (TPM) within the GES Technology Group, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the Digital Delivery Leader and Product Teams and be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the engineering plan and schedule for one or more domains and drive dependency management within and across teams. Key outcomes delivered by this role are to ensure risks to delivery, scope, and resources are identified early, mitigated proactively, and escalated with clarity when needed.

  • Engineering Schedule & Delivery Management- Own and maintain integrated engineering schedule for assigned domains including milestones and delivery dates; translate product decisions into detailed schedules, keep current, communicate changes proactively, and serve as authoritative source on schedule status and delivery risk
  • Dependency & Cross-Team Coordination-Map and track all intra-domain and cross-domain dependencies, facilitate resolution of conflicts to unblock delivery, and represent domain in cross-product planning sessions ensuring visibility of capacity constraints and commitments
  • Risk Management & Escalation-Proactively identify delivery risks across dependencies, resources, scope, and execution; develop and track mitigation plans; escalate unresolved risks to leadership with full context and recommendations; maintain current, actionable risk log
  • Stakeholder Alignment & Communication-Partner with Product Owners/Managers to translate scope and priority decisions into engineering delivery plans; prepare and present audience-calibrated status communications ensuring consistent stakeholder understanding of scope, schedule, and risks
  • Engineering Leadership Collaboration-Work with engineering managers to understand capacity and constraints; structure realistic team schedules without directing execution; co-own milestone definitions with clear entry/exit criteria; surface resourcing gaps and capacity constraints to enable staffing decisions

Required:

  • Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 - 3 days per week
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field
  • 3+ years in technical/engineering program management in software product environments
  • Demonstrated ability to own complex, multi-team engineering schedules with delivery accountability
  • Experience managing cross-functional dependencies across multiple teams, product lines, or platforms through integrated plans, milestone tracking, and issue resolution
  • Strong SDLC knowledge, including Agile, SAFe, or hybrid methodologies, demonstrated through delivery planning, sprint/release coordination, and execution support

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,600 to $141,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
