We are looking for an Operations Supervisor who is a proven leader with people skills, a passion for patient care, and the drive to succeed.

Location: Columbus, OH

Days: Mon-Fri with occasional weekend responsibilities

Hours: Generally day shift but 2nd shift 2 days/week as needed in processing

Full Time Benefits Eligible

In this role, you will:

  • Upholds all Sonic Core values.
  • Successfully oversees all operations in designated territory, ensuring specimen collection, processing, and transport to the main lab
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels at all designated accounts, publishing and maintaining a work schedule
  • Performs payroll functions to include monitoring and adjusting employee clocking's, submitting payroll promptly, reviewing PTO requests, etc.
  • Responsible for hiring, orienting, training, performance management, and periodic performance review
  • Participate in the Quality Management program by submitting timely reports to the Director on Non-Technical Operations
  • Monitor, track, and address errors in specimen collection, processing, and data entry
  • Perform periodic audits at all locations on a routine basis
  • Responds to building maintenance and repair needs by submitting estimates and working directly with contractors.
  • Mentor and trains designated team lead
  • Assist in new account set-ups.
  • Understand, adheres to, and enforces all Compliance rules
  • Complete all mandatory education assigned.
  • Fills-in at sites as necessary, performing all duties of a phlebotomist
  • Responsible for oversight and routine maintenance/repairs of fleet vehicles
  • Attend monthly meetings and others as scheduled at the main office in Toledo.
  • Works closely and collaboratively with the market sales team to ensure retention of existing accounts as well as supporting growth

All you need is:

  • High School Diploma
  • 5+ year's phlebotomy experience
  • 2+ years' experience in a supervisory role.
  • Phlebotomy Certificate
