As a Technical Operations Team Member located in Promontory, Utah, Huntsville, AL or Chandler, AZ. you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of possible from day one.

We are seeking a highly strategic, operationally minded Technical Integration and Operations Team Member to partner with NGSP Central Region Engineering leadership in driving alignment, execution, and performance across the organization. In this role, you will apply systems engineering skills such as planning, requirements capture, design, analysis, integration, verification, validation, cost and risk analysis against business practices necessary to enable efficient and effective operations of the Central Region Engineering organization. This role serves as a force multiplier for the Regional Leader-connecting strategy to execution, improving cross-functional and cross-discipline collaboration between the 3 engineering regions and the 4 divisions. This position will report directly to the lead Central Region Engineering Technical Integration and Operations manager and will have dotted line reporting as Technical Integration and Operations support to one of the Senior Directorate Leads within NGSP Central Region Engineering. We are seeking to hire 1 candidate at each of the three locations; Chandler, AZ: Huntsville, AL, and Promontory, UT.

This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Workforce Planning & Regional Collaboration

- Capture requirements, define and drive a strategic staffing approach aligned to regional priorities and growth plans

- Partner with HR and functional leaders to validate and verify workforce needs, gaps, and capacity planning

- Collaborate with peer regions to ensure consistency, share best practices, and optimize resource allocation

- Facilitate and streamline the end-to-end staffing life cycle, including prioritization, approvals, and execution

- Track, report and analyze staffing progress, risks, and opportunities to regional and enterprise leadership

Engineering Process and Tools

- Lead the review and consolidation of engineering processes across the region to optimize and improve consistency and efficiency.

- Partner closely with the sector teams to align regional engineering processes with broader organizational standards and priorities.

- Serve as a focal point for coordination between regional teams and sector process leadership on process and tool initiatives.

Operational Excellence

- Establish and optimize operating rhythms (e.g., business reviews, leadership meetings, planning cycles)

- Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable processes to improve regional performance

- Lead cross-functional initiatives that span multiple teams or business units

- Act as a central integrator/connector across functions (Operations, Sales, Finance, HR, etc.)

- Ensure alignment of priorities, messaging, and execution across the region

- Facilitate communication and decision-making between regional and corporate leadership

Decision Support & Insights

- Design and provide data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions

- Develop executive-level presentations, reports, and business cases

- Anticipate operational risks and opportunities, proactively recommending solutions

Leadership Enablement

- Support leadership team effectiveness, including agenda setting, follow-ups, and accountability

- Other duties as assigned

- 3+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or related roles

- Familiarity with project management/project planning and operational KPIs

- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Exceptional communication and executive presence

- Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through

Preferred Qualifications:

- An active U.S. Government DoD Secret security

- Prior management experience

- Experience supporting regional or multi-site operations

- Familiarity with organizational procedures within NG Space

- Proficiency with data analytics tools and strategy

Primary Level Salary Range: $139,000.00 - $230,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
