Account Manager / Technical Manager (7277) Overview of Role

This position serves as a primary interface between TSMC and one of our leading U.S. semiconductor customers focused on advanced computing and high-performance technologies. The Account Manager (or Technical Manager) will drive technical and business collaboration, oversee operational execution, and align foundry and packaging capabilities with customer roadmaps. Success requires a balance of commercial acumen, technical fluency, and strong cross‑functional partnership.

Responsibilities
  • Lead discussions on advanced packaging technologies and silicon process coordination.
  • Manage foundry operations, capacity planning, and project forecasting.
  • Serve as the key liaison across internal functions — including Product Planning, Field Technology Support (FTS), Business Development, and Operations.
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable deliverables and ensure smooth execution.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and proactively identify business growth opportunities.
  • Foster long‑term partnerships through consistent communication and problem‑solving.
Success Metrics

6–12 months:

  • Gain proficiency with internal tools, systems, and business processes.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with internal and customer stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate proactive ownership of customer programs and strategic initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 9+ years’ experience in the semiconductor ecosystem (foundry, EDA, or advanced packaging preferred).
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and account management.
  • Skilled in contract negotiation, capacity forecasting, and roadmap alignment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese preferred for cross‑border coordination.

At the time of this posting, this role typically pays an annual base salary between $123,500 per year and $180,500 per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires.
