Job description

We are partnering with a high-growth, AI-first SaaS tech organization at an genuine inflection point. With an ambitious AI roadmap accelerating, and an R&D org scaling at pace, they are looking for a recruiting leader who can build the technical recruiting function that gets them there and beyond.

This isn't a seat for someone who wants to run reqs. This is for someone who wants to build a recruiting engine — design how it operates, coach the team that runs it, and sit at the table when the company's most important hiring decisions get made.

What You'll Own

  • Lead, coach, and scale a team of technical recruiters across engineering, product, and IT
  • Translate an aggressive hiring plan into a structured operating model — blitz hiring, funnel design, interviewer capacity planning, playbooks
  • Partner as a true strategic advisor to senior engineering and product leadership — not just a recruiting resource
  • Build systems and processes that increase speed without sacrificing quality
  • Leverage AI-enabled tooling and data to drive smarter decisions and stronger outcomes across the funnel

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years in recruiting, with at least 2 years managing technical recruiters
  • A builder — someone who has designed operating models and created structure in high-growth, high-pressure environments
  • Deep technical hiring expertise across engineering, product, and adjacent functions
  • Strong coaching instincts and a genuine investment in developing people
  • Fluency with modern recruiting stacks and a practical understanding of how AI is reshaping the talent market
  • High EQ and high standards — comfortable influencing senior leaders and pushing back when needed

Why This Role

  • Strategic scope from day one — you'll shape how this function scales through to IPO and beyond
  • Direct visibility to co-founders and C-suite leadership
  • A company making a genuine, well-funded bet on AI — and a recruiting mandate that reflects that ambition
  • Remote-first with a collaborative, high-ownership culture that moves fast and builds for the long term
  • Competitive compensation and meaningful equity at a pre-IPO stage

If you're a recruiting leader who thrives in ambiguity, loves building, and wants your fingerprints on something that matters — we'd love to hear from you.

Compensation

USD 180,000 - 220,000 base + Equity
