Job description

Zof AI is seeking a Technical Customer Success Manager to make customers successful after launch and prove it. This is technical customer success: driving adoption, being the first line for debugging and optimizing customer AI deployments, and turning outcomes into evidence that powers renewals and expansion. If you have worked as a Customer Success Engineer, this role consolidates that discipline with account ownership. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable reading a trace and running an executive business review.

Customer Success ยท Mid to Senior ยท Full-time ยท On-site ยท San Francisco, CA

Responsibilities
  • Own customer adoption and outcomes from launch onward.
  • Serve as the first line for debugging and optimizing customer deployments.
  • Prove value with outcome data that drives renewals and expansion.
  • Run onboarding, training, and regular outcome reviews with customers.
  • Escalate technical issues to engineering with clear reproductions.
  • Detect churn risk early and act on it.
  • Champion the voice of the customer inside product and engineering.
  • Build the customer success playbook as the customer base grows.
Requirements
  • Experience in customer success, support engineering, or technical account management.
  • Enough technical depth to debug and explain AI system behavior.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Comfort with outcome data, metrics, and business reviews.
  • Strong organization across multiple accounts.
  • High ownership of customer outcomes.
  • Willingness to use AI tools deeply in day-to-day work.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment.
Nice to have
  • Prior customer success engineering or solutions experience.
  • Experience supporting AI, developer tools, or enterprise software.
  • Ability to read code and logs.
  • Experience with renewals and expansion motions.

Must be technical enough to debug and explain AI deployments, not just report on them
